MCA Guest Player, Motown Captain Kashif Akhtar is 2010 Forty-overs MVP

At the Michigan Cricket Association awards ceremony (Troy Community Center, 3179 Livernois Road, Troy, from 3 to 6pm, Saturday, 19 February) MCA’s most regular guest player, Kashif Akhtar, who is also captain of Motown Cricket Club, for whom many MCA members have played in recent years, will be recognized as the MVP of last year’s forty-over tournament. He was also last year’s top bowler (when, it will be remembered, he bowled both right-arm and left-arm), and he tops the career fielding list. Moreover, he is third on the all-time batting list, and second on the all-time bowling list.

MCA offers Kashif heartfelt congratulations on these splendid achievements.
